Pitch In For Baseball & Softball was grateful to partner with the New York Mets and the Mets Foundation again in 2019 to help kids the proper gear to play ball. This year’s program supported 50 baseball teams and 50 softball teams in the five boroughs of Manhattan and Long Island who participate in the Mets’ Sandlot Stars Program. To celebrate the donation, the Mets hosted a distribution event at Citi Field and invited the teams, coaches, and parents to the ballpark to pick up their equipment and enjoy a fun filled afternoon.
