In November, Pitch In For Baseball & Softball partnered with the New York Mets to deliver 50 team kits of brand new equipment to help children in the Dominican Republic play ball! Ozzie Virgil, the first Dominican born player to play in the majors, was on hand to help us pass out the new gear at a distribution event held at the Mets training academy in the Dominican Republic. The equipment will help several hundred kids get on the field.
